25Titansorb
Titansorb is a titanium-dioxide-based adsorber developed for arsenic and a broad range of heavy metals. Its project capacity depends strongly on arsenic species, pH, silica, competing ions, contact time and the selected breakthrough criterion.

Technical workflow
- 01
Characterise: Identify target species, concentration, pH, competing ions, organics and suspended matter.
- 02
Contact: Water is distributed through the media bed at a velocity that provides the required empty-bed contact time.
- 03
Capture: Contaminants bind to, react with or are transformed at the active media surface.
- 04
Control: Performance is monitored until the selected breakthrough criterion triggers media replacement or regeneration where applicable.
